Motivation 👉🏽 Self Discipline 👉🏽 Habit

A question I get asked a lot is how I find the motivation and discipline to train daily and eat clean. The truth is I’m not actually the most disciplined or motivated person at all!

A question I get asked a lot is how I find the motivation and discipline to train daily and eat clean. The truth is I’m not actually the most disciplined or motivated person at all! 😬

The ‘old me’ could easily go a week or two without moving my body, the more I didn’t move, the more crap I ate, and the less I felt like moving. This vicious cycle spilled over into overall lower motivation around work, relationships, libido, and ultimately a negative outlook on life and myself. 😭

It was recognising the connection between movement and clean eating and how it positively impacted so many other aspects of my life that I found the motivation to start moving and eating better. 🙌🏽

But motivation doesn’t last forever. It can be a great tool to get you started, but it’s hinges on your “why” and actually wanting to do the thang! Self discipline on the other hand, that’s hinged on getting the things done, long after the will the do them has left you. 🙏

Here’s the secret sauce though: You only need a little bit of self discipline to create lasting habits – 9 weeks to be exact!💪🏽

It’s why I created the “MY NINE” program. In 63 days you can rewrite your entire life’s trajectory! 😍

In any discussion about success, the words “discipline” and “habit” ultimately intersect. Though separate in meaning, they powerfully connect to form the foundation for achievement—regularly working at something until it regularly works for you. When you discipline yourself, you’re essentially training yourself to act in a specific way. Stay with this long enough and it becomes routine—in other words, a habit. 🤩

So when you see people who look like “disciplined” people, what you’re really seeing is people who’ve trained a handful of habits into their lives.🔥

Getting a coach to hold you accountable during your 63 days of discipline is very useful too…after that, once you’ve laid a foundation of habits, flying solo is easy. 😘

Do you talk down to yourself?

Negative self-talk is any inner dialogue you have with yourself that may be limiting your ability to believe in yourself and your own abilities, and to reach your potential.
